INSIZE 4845-2 Wet Film Gauge 25-3000 Micron

The INSIZE 4845-2 is a stainless steel wet film comb gauge for checking the thickness of freshly applied wet paint or coating, with notched teeth covering 25 to 3000µm. INSIZE states an accuracy of ±5µm for readings between 25 and 100µm, widening to ±5% of the reading from 100 to 3000µm, on a 1mm-thick hexagonal comb. It works by pressing the notched edge into the wet film and reading the highest tooth still showing a wetted mark, giving a quick, reusable check of coating thickness on site without waiting for the coating to cure.
