Description

The Makita DDG461PT2 is an 18V x2 (36V) LXT cordless earth auger with the bit directly attached, powered by two 18V batteries in series. Makita states a BL motor delivering 1,500 RPM with a variable 2-speed range of 0 to 1,400 and 0 to 350 RPM, drilling capacity of 150 mm in clay soil and 200 mm in sandy soil, and maximum output of 1,350 W. A built-in clutch reduces gear damage, twin LEDs with preglow and afterglow light the work area, and a reversing switch frees a jammed bit. Weight is 7.0 to 7.6 kg.
