Description

The Groz BV/F/125 is a fixed-base bench vice with a 5 in (125 mm) jaw, a 6 in (150 mm) opening and a 2-3/4" (70 mm) throat depth, weighing 14.7 kg. Groz rates the casting to a tensile strength of 20,000 PSI (1,400 kgf/cm²) for the clamping loads a bench vice sees in everyday workshop use. It bolts to the bench on a fixed base rather than a swivelling one, keeping the jaws square to the work for filing, sawing and assembly tasks.
