Groz DHLV/2.5/12 Drilling Hammer 1.1 kg

The Groz DHLV/2.5/12 drilling hammer, also called a stone-cutter's hathoda, is forged from a single piece of steel rather than a separate head and handle, so the head cannot work loose or come off in use. Groz states the head is induction hardened to 50-58 HRC and weighs 1.1 kg (2.5 lb), with a 12-inch (300 mm) overall length. A TPR cushion grip on the handle absorbs shock during repeated blows and gives a slip-resistant hold. It is built for striking cold chisels, concrete chisels and brick bolsters, and for driving stakes and rebar or breaking through concrete floors.
