Description
The Honda EU30is is a portable inverter generator with electric self-start, built around Honda's GX200 196 cc four-stroke OHV engine. Honda rates it at 2,800 VA (2.8 kVA) continuous output with a 3,000 VA maximum, at 230 V single phase and 50 Hz. The 12.5-litre tank gives about 6.9 hours at rated output, and Eco Throttle matches engine speed to the load to save fuel and cut noise. Its microcomputer-controlled sine-wave inverter suits computers and other sensitive equipment, and two units can run in parallel. An oil alert, circuit breaker, fuel gauge, castor wheels and E20 fuel compatibility round it off; it weighs 62 kg dry.
