Description

The INSIZE 1224-150A is an anti-magnetic vernier caliper with a 0-150mm range, reading in 0.02mm steps to a manufacturer-stated accuracy of ±0.05mm. INSIZE states it is made of pure copper rather than steel, which keeps it non-magnetic for use near magnetised parts or strong magnetic fields, though the manufacturer notes copper is not hardened, so the caliper is softer than a stainless-steel model. It is used for outside, inside, depth and step measurements on magnetic workpieces where a steel caliper could pick up stray magnetism and skew a reading.
