Description

The INSIZE 1238-3002 vernier caliper has carbide-tipped jaws for both inside and outside measurements, giving longer wear life than plain steel jaws on abrasive or hardened parts. It covers a 0-300mm/0-12 inch range, reading in 0.02mm or 0.001 inch steps to a manufacturer-stated accuracy of ±0.03mm. INSIZE builds the caliper from stainless steel with a satin chrome-plated reading surface, and the design meets DIN862, the German standard for vernier caliper accuracy. It suits repeated measurement work in machine shops and quality inspection where jaw wear would otherwise affect readings.
