The INSIZE 3221-500 tubular inside micrometer covers 200-500mm by fitting extension rods onto a single micrometer head, so one instrument reaches a wide range of bore and internal diameters. Its micrometer head has a 25mm travel, and ships with 3 extension rods to reach the top of this range. INSIZE gives the series a 0.01mm graduation and rates accuracy by the formula (6+L/50)μm, where L is the maximum measuring length; that works out to about 16μm at 500mm. Optional INSIZE accessories include a setting ring (code 6312), gauge block accessory (code 6881), cylinder gauge block (code 4001) and caliper/height gauge checker (code 6884).
