Description

INSIZE's 4793 flat edge square with wide base is made of hardened stainless steel, sized 50x40mm and built to DIN 875 grade 2. INSIZE states its squareness as 24μm on the inside edge and 25μm on the outside edge, with a blade thickness of 15 mm and a 13 mm wide base that gives it a broader footprint than a plain flat edge square, letting it stand unsupported on a surface plate. It is used to check or mark 90-degree angles on machined parts during layout and inspection work.
