INSIZE 4856-1 Angle Gauge for Countersunk Holes

INSIZE's 4856-1 is a flat stainless steel gauge for checking countersunk hole angles, with a countersink notch machined into each of six points on its star-shaped body, set to 60°, 82°, 90°, 100°, 110° and 120°. INSIZE states an accuracy of ±0.5° and marks a millimetre graduation along the gauge for reading depth as you check the fit. Hold the matching point of the gauge against the countersunk hole; where its two edges sit flush against the chamfer, that is the included angle cut into the hole. It is a fixed-angle check used in machine shops to confirm a countersink has been cut to the angle a drawing calls for.
