INSIZE 5813-PT25 Handheld Wine Refractometer. The INSIZE 5813-PT25 is a handheld optical refractometer for measuring the sugar concentration of wine before and during fermentation and tracking grape ripening. INSIZE states a dual scale of 0-40% Brix and 0-25% VOL, with accuracy at 20 degrees C of plus-or-minus 1% Brix and plus-or-minus 0.2% VOL, in graduations of 1% Brix and 0.2% VOL. It needs no tools for zero adjustment, has a hanging hole for storage, measures 30x40x175mm and weighs 160g; an optional lighting cover plate is available for reading the scale in low light.
