INSIZE ISQ-PB5 Cross Cut Adhesion Tester, 6-Tooth 3 mm Pitch

The INSIZE ISQ-PB5 is a cross-cut adhesion tester built to ASTM D3359, BS 3900E6 and BS/EN ISO 2409, used to check how well a paint coating grips metal, wood or plastic. Its octahedral blade has 6 cutting teeth at 3 mm pitch, suited to thicker coatings of about 121-250 µm, on a hard substrate at least 0.25 mm thick or a soft substrate at least 10 mm thick. Cutting a lattice into the coating, lifting a strip of the supplied test tape, and judging any flaking under the 2X magnifier against the standard grading steps gives the adhesion rating. The handle, blade, test tape and a brush are included.
