The KisanKraft KK-STB-050 is a petrol stubble shaver, a grass and stubble mower built to manage crop residue after harvest. A 302 cc four-stroke engine rated at 5 kW (6.7 hp) at 3,600 rpm drives a 700 mm cutting width, and the gearbox gives three forward speeds and one reverse. KisanKraft designs it to cut and finely chop stubble so that it decomposes quickly, a cleaner alternative to stubble burning that returns organic matter to the soil and helps its fertility and water retention. It also handles green manure crops and weeds in large fields, so land is ready sooner for the next crop.
