Description

The Makita 5740NB is a corded circular saw with a 185 mm blade. Makita's own instruction manual states a no-load speed of 5,200 rpm, a maximum cutting depth of 64 mm at 90 degrees and 42 mm at 45 degrees, an overall length of 298 mm and a net weight of 3.6 kg, with double-insulated (Class II) construction. It has a heavy-gauge aluminium wraparound base for stable support and ruler markings for guiding straight cuts, for general timber and sheet-material cutting on site.
