The Makita 9553NB/B is a 100 mm angle grinder for 110V mains supply, with a 710 W motor that Makita rates at 11,000 rpm no-load. It has a small-circumference barrel grip for easy handling, and Makita states the armature is coated with a protective zig-zag varnish and the field coil with a powder varnish, protecting the motor from dust and wire breakage.
