Description
The Makita AC001GZ is a 40V XGT cordless air compressor built mainly for interior nailing, such as finish nailing with an 18-gauge nailer. Its oil-free pump needs no servicing, and a belt-drive design keeps the motor quieter for indoor use. The 7.6-litre tank fills from empty to its full 0.93 MPa (135 PSI) in around 100 seconds, cutting back in at 0.72 MPa, with an air flow Makita states as 34 L/min at 0.62 MPa. A complete roll-cage frame with a rubberised carry handle protects the compressor on site. It runs on a 40V XGT Li-ion battery; the GZ version is the bare tool, without a battery or charger.
