Description
The Makita CP100DZ is a 12V max CXT Li-Ion cordless multi cutter, a small reciprocating-style blade tool for trimming thin and thick materials. Makita states it cuts up to 6 mm through cardboard, carpet, fabrics, leather, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs, running at a no-load speed of 300 RPM. An auto self-sharpening function keeps the blade edge fresh, the lock-off button works from either side to prevent accidental starts, and the slide-style battery mount gives an improved ergonomic grip. It is part of Makita's expanding 12V max CXT range.
