Description

The Makita DCE090Z is an 18Vx2 (36V) LXT BL brushless cordless power cutter with a 230 mm (9") wheel. Makita states its BL motor runs at 6,600 RPM, giving a maximum cutting capacity of 88 mm, with Active Feedback sensing Technology switching the motor off if the wheel is forced to stop or the speed suddenly drops. A water supply kit can be connected for wet cutting, a battery cover guards against water ingress, an overload indicator lamp and switchable LED job light are fitted, and the electric brake stops the wheel in 2.0-4.0 seconds.
