Description
The Makita DCO181Z is an 18V LXT BL brushless cordless cut-out tool with a 6.35 mm (1/4") collet, used for cutting openings such as electrical boxes into drywall. Makita states its BL motor spins at 32,000 RPM no-load, on a max output of 600 W, with a collet capacity of 3 or 6 mm (1/8" or 1/4"). The Auto-start Wireless System connects the tool to a compatible vacuum cleaner over Bluetooth, twin LED job lights with afterglow light the cut line, and the shoe plate doubles as a wrench for changing bits.
