Description

The Makita DDF490 is an 18V LXT cordless driver drill with a two-speed gearbox: 0-1,900 RPM on high and 0-500 RPM on low. Makita states a maximum torque of 65 N·m, with fastening torque of 50 N·m on hard joints and 27 N·m on soft ones for controlled screwdriving. Its 13 mm keyless chuck drills up to 13 mm in steel and 38 mm in wood. A 20-stage clutch with a separate drill mode, reversible rotation, a built-in LED work light, and Extreme Protection Technology against dust and water complete the tool, which weighs 1.4-1.7 kg. The Z code is sold as a bare tool, without battery or charger.
