Description

The Makita DHP490 is an 18V LXT cordless hammer driver drill with a brushless motor and a 13 mm keyless chuck. Makita states a maximum fastening torque of 50/27 N·m (hard/soft), a no-load speed of 0-1,900/500 rpm and an impact rate of up to 28,500 per minute, drilling 13 mm in steel, 38 mm in wood and 13 mm in masonry. It has 20 torque settings, a reversing switch, an LED work light and XPT water-resistant construction, and the DHP490Z is the bare tool, weighing 1.4-1.7 kg with a battery fitted.
