Description

The DJR189Z is Makita's 18V LXT brushless cordless reciprocating saw, built compact and light for one-handed cutting in tight spaces such as plumbing and electrical work. Makita states a 22 mm stroke with a speed of 0-3,100 strokes per minute, and a cutting capacity of 130 mm pipe and 255 mm wood. A BL brushless motor is designed to run cooler and last longer than a brushed motor, and a loop-shaped handle guard with a counterweight mechanism cuts vibration and hand fatigue. Makita's own accessories list for this code confirms it ships with three saw blades only. Supplied as a bare tool: battery and charger not included.
