Makita DJV181Z 18V LXT Jigsaw

The Makita DJV181Z is an 18V LXT cordless jig saw with a barrel-handle grip and a brushless motor, supplied here as the tool only. Makita states a 26 mm stroke length, a stroke rate of 800–3,500 spm, and bevel cuts to 45° either side with a positive stop at 90°, in a body measuring 298 x 77 x 189 mm and weighing 2.3–2.6 kg with the battery fitted. It runs dual LED job lights, three orbital settings plus straight cutting, a tool-less blade clamp, soft start and an electric brake, and comes with a jig saw blade, cover plate, dust nozzle, anti-splintering device and hex wrench.
