Description
The Makita DLS714Z is a 190 mm dual slide compound miter saw powered by two 18V LXT batteries working together as a 36V system. Makita's brushless motor turns the blade at 5,700 RPM, giving a 90-degree crosscut capacity of 52 x 300 mm, with 40 x 300 mm still available at a 45-degree miter or a 5-degree bevel. As a bare tool, without batteries or charger, it weighs 12.6 kg. Its dual-slide rail design needs less depth behind the saw than a single-rail slide saw, so it can sit closer to a wall. It suits skirting, architrave, decking and general site carpentry.
