Description

The Makita DUC254Z is an 18V LXT cordless chain saw with a 250 mm (10-inch) guide bar, which Makita states cuts 15% faster than a petrol saw with a 22.2 mL engine. It has an outer-rotor brushless direct-drive motor, a no-load chain speed of up to 24.0 m/s, a thick-branch/torque-boost mode, kickback and electric brakes, and adjustable automatic chain lubrication from a 140 mL oil tank. Weight is 2.8-3.2 kg. Supplied as a bare tool with the 10-inch guide bar and saw chain; battery and charger are sold separately, for pruning and felling small trees.
