Description

The Makita GA048GZ is a 40V XGT cordless 100 mm angle grinder using the same drum-type motor housing Makita rates at 2,300 W and 11,000 RPM, built to match a corded 1,000 W-class grinder without a cable. It has a paddle switch, an electric brake, an anti-restart function and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for working in dust, plus soft start and constant speed control to keep the wheel speed steady under load. The GZ version is the bare tool: Makita supplies it with a depressed centre wheel, a toolless wheel cover, a side grip and a lock nut wrench, but without a battery or charger.
