Makita GA5020C 125mm Angle Grinder 240V

The Makita GA5020C is a 125 mm angle grinder for 240V mains supply, built around a 1,450 W motor that Makita rates at 10,000 rpm no-load. It has a trigger switch with a lock-on button, and Makita states it uses SJS (Super Joint System), a clutch that lets the drive shaft slip if the wheel is forced to stop, protecting the motor and gears. Makita also lists anti-restart protection, soft start, constant speed control under load, a gear housing that rotates in 90° steps, and a side handle that fits either side of the body. It is double insulated and used for grinding, cutting and finishing metal and stone.
