Makita GB801 Bench Grinder 205mm 240V

Makita's GB801 bench grinder carries a 205 mm (8 inch) wheel, a 550 W motor and a no-load speed of 2,850 RPM at 50 Hz. Makita states the wheel covers have built-in task lights, one eye-shield has a magnifying section for close work, and an adjustable wheel-balance feature keeps vibration low. A split-capacitor motor gives higher efficiency with reduced noise, and work rests support the piece being ground. The grinder measures 395 x 265 x 333 mm and weighs about 19.9 kg, built for sharpening, deburring and general bench grinding.
