Makita RT0700C 6/8mm 710W Variable Speed Trimmer. The Makita RT0700C is a variable-speed laminate trimmer and small router with a 710 W motor running from 10,000 to 30,000 rpm, taking 6 mm or 8 mm (1/4 or 3/8 inch) collets. Like the rest of Makita's trimmer range it has an aluminium housing and base with a rack-and-pinion depth adjuster, four interchangeable base assemblies (trimmer, plunge, tilt and offset), electronic speed control that holds speed under load, soft start, and vacuum-cleaner compatible dust collection. It is double insulated and weighs 1.8-2.7 kg.
