Description

The Makita UA004G is a 40V XGT cordless telescopic pole saw with a brushless motor and a 300 mm guide bar, running at up to 20.0 m/s chain speed. Makita states it can match or exceed the output of 35 cm-class petrol pole saws. Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) guards against dust and water, Active Feedback Technology stops the chain if it suddenly jams, and captive nuts keep the guide-bar and chain hardware from being lost during servicing. The telescopic head extends from about 2.5 m to 3.7 m, and the saw weighs 7.6-8.9 kg with a battery fitted. As the Z-coded version, it is the tool only.
