Description
Makita's VL001GZ is a 40Vmax XGT cordless concrete screed with a brushless motor and interchangeable boards in 900 mm, 1,400 mm and 1,800 mm lengths, letting one tool cover different slab widths. Makita states a vibration rate of 11,000 per minute, tool-less blade changes, and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for high water resistance in wet concrete work. An anti-restart function adds a safety check after a stall, and a lock-on button allows continuous operation without holding the trigger. Weight ranges from 5.3 kg to 6.2 kg depending on the board fitted, with a runtime of up to 150 minutes on an 1,800 mm board with a BL4040F battery.
