Description

The Makita VR004C is a Powerpack concrete vibrator built around a 52 mm flexible shaft in a 3.0 m length, for consolidating freshly poured concrete by releasing trapped air and excess water so it settles firmly in the formwork. Makita states a vibration rate of 12,000 per minute and a vibration level of 2.5 m/s² or less, with the head, shaft and PDC01 powerpack unit (or PDC1200A01) together weighing 13.7 kg. It runs on Makita's 40V XGT cordless battery platform, so the vibrator can be used away from a mains supply on site.
