Description

The Milwaukee M18 FMDP is an 18 V FUEL magnetic drill press with a self-powered permanent-magnet base rated by Milwaukee at 8,890 N of holding force, built on the POWERSTATE brushless motor. It states a two-speed gearbox giving 400 rpm for annular cutters or 690 rpm for twist bits, a maximum drilling capacity of 38 mm with annular cutters and 13 mm with twist drills, and a 50 mm broaching depth over a 146 mm stroke. AUTOSTOP lift-off detection cuts power if the drill rotates excessively, and an on-board lubrication tank is included. It is supplied with two M18 5.0 Ah batteries and a charger in a kitbox.
