Description

The Stanley 1-86-397 is a 1/2-inch drive round head ratchet with quick release. A lockable ball holds the socket on the drive, and a press on the button in the ratchet head releases it, so sockets change quickly; Stanley calls this a socket safety lock. The ratchet suits machine tool work, in Stanley's words, and is marked as exceeding the ANSI standard. It fits 1/2-inch drive sockets, extension bars and adaptors for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts.
