Stanley 2-84-179 Tower Pincer 200 mm (8 in)

The Stanley 2-84-179 is a 200 mm (8-inch) tower pincer. Stanley describes it as often used to cut the tie wire that binds reinforcing bars together when setting up formwork, and gives it a strong leverage ratio so hard wire cuts easily. The cutting edges are induction hardened to hold their first-cut sharpness, the head is polished, and the handles are chemically blackened and lacquered. Stanley lists it to ISO 9242 and marks the range as exceeding ANSI standards.
