Description

The Stanley 84-282 is a 250 mm tower pincer, the larger size in Stanley's tower pincer range. Stanley describes its tower pincers as often used to cut the tie wire that binds reinforcing bars together when setting up formwork, and lists them as conforming to ISO 9242. The cutting edges are induction hardened to keep their sharpness, and a strong leverage ratio makes hard wire easier to cut. Stanley marks the range as exceeding ANSI standards.
