STIHL AS 2 Battery AS 2 / EA024006500
STIHL AS 2 Battery AS 2 / EA024006500. The STIHL AS 2 is the battery for STIHL's AS cordless system, rated at 10.8 V with 28 Wh of energy and weighing just 0.2 kg. STIHL builds in constant-power electronics so the tool keeps working at full strength as the charge runs down, rather than slowing near empty. It is IPX4-rated against splashing water, and STIHL states it fits almost every AS-system tool, the one exception being the HSA 25 shrub shears. Charging takes about 80 minutes on the AL 1 standard charger or 50 minutes on the faster AL 5 or AL 5-2 chargers.
