The STIHL FS 230 is a petrol brushcutter for mowing work in agriculture, such as cutting grass for animal feed. Its 40.2 cc engine produces 1.55 kW (about 2.1 HP) and runs from a 0.81 L fuel tank. On this cruise control version, a locking throttle keeps engine output constant once set, and a single-handed multi-function handle puts all the main controls within reach of right- and left-handed users.
