STIHL MS 500i Chainsaw with 20-inch Guide bar & 36RS Saw Chain | 11472000142 APPLICATION Professional forestry: felling, delimbing and cutting thick timber to length. Electronically controlled fuel injection supports responsive engine performance. INSTALLATION / INITIAL SETUP 1. Have a STIHL dealer demonstrate the machine and check the exact item-code configuration. Read the supplied model manual before assembly or use. 2. With the engine stopped and cool, fit the specified guide bar and matching chain. Check chain direction, tension and cover fastening exactly as the manual describes; wear protective gloves. 3. Fill with the specified petrol/two-stroke-oil fuel mix and suitable chain lubricant. Close caps, inspect for leaks and check chain lubrication, brake and throttle controls. 4. Start outdoors using the model-specific sequence, chain brake engaged and cutting attachment clear. Use chainsaw PPE and a trained operator; stop the engine before adjustments or refuelling.
