Description

The STIHL MSA 70 C-B is a 36 V cordless chainsaw from STIHL's AK system, sold here as a set with an AK 30 lithium-ion battery and AL 101 standard charger. STIHL aims it at garden care around the home, such as cutting branches and wood. An energy-efficient EC motor drives a 30 cm (12-inch) Rollomatic E Mini bar with 1/4-inch Picco chain, and the saw weighs 2.5 kg without battery, bar and chain. STIHL says it is quiet enough to use without ear protection. Variable speed, tool-free chain tensioning and a QuickStop Super brake are fitted, and it runs up to 45 minutes per AK 30 charge.
