Description

The Groz BPFG/48/16 is a ball pein hammer with a fibreglass handle and a 1360 g (48 oz) head, 16 inches (400 mm) long overall. Groz states the head conforms to BS 876 and ANSI, is hardened to 50-58 HRC, and grips the fibreglass shaft with a TRP (thermoplastic rubber) sleeve for a non-slip hold. Ball pein hammers pair a flat striking face with a rounded pein for shaping metal, closing rivets and striking punches and chisels in metalworking and fabrication.
