Description

The Groz BPID/20/14 ball pein hammer has a 565 g (20 oz) head and a 14-inch (350 mm) indestructible handle for metalworking. Two spring steel bars run the length of the handle and lock into the head with a steel plate, so the head stays put through hard use. Groz forges the head from special steel and induction hardens it to 50-58 HRC, with a rounded pein end for shaping metal and a flat face for regular striking. It conforms to BS 876 and ANSI standards and suits bending and shaping metal, driving punches and chisels, hand forging, riveting and texturing metal surfaces.
