Description

The Groz SHFG/12/36 is a sledge hammer with a fibreglass handle and a 5.5 kg (12 lb) head, 36 inches (900 mm) long overall. Groz states the head conforms to BS 876, SANS 387:2014 and ANSI, and is hardened to 50-58 HRC. The fibreglass handle absorbs shock and is lighter than a wooden handle of the same length, making the hammer suited to demolition, construction and general workshop striking work where a heavy, repeated blow is needed.
