Groz SHID/12/30 Sledge Hammer Indestructible Handle 5.5 kg

The Groz SHID/12/30 sledge hammer has a 5.5 kg (12 lb) head on a 30-inch (750 mm) indestructible handle, part of what Groz calls the 'big boy' of its hammer range. Six spring steel bars run through the handle and lock into the head with a steel plate so the head cannot work loose, while the rubber grip absorbs vibration for extended use. The head is forged from special steel, induction hardened to 50-58 HRC, and the hammer conforms to BS 876, ANSI and SANS387:2014. It suits heavy demolition, driving stakes and fence posts, fracturing stone, and rebar and railroad work.
