Description
The Groz SHID/8/30 is a sledge hammer with a 3.6 kg (8 lb) head hardened to 50-58 HRC, on Groz's indestructible handle reinforced with 6 spring steel bars running its length and locked to the head with a steel plate. Groz states it conforms to BS 876, ANSI and SANS 387:2014, and rates the handle for use between -10°C and 50°C. It suits demolition, construction and heavy striking work where a wooden handle would be more likely to break or work loose. Overall length is 30 inches (750 mm).
