Description

The Honda GX50 is a compact 47.9 cc four-stroke engine with an overhead cam driven by a maintenance-free, low-noise timing belt. Its vertical design can be tilted through a full 360 degrees, so it keeps running in any position. Net output is 1.47 kW (2.0 hp) at 7,000 rpm with 2.2 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, and it uses oil-mist lubrication, a diaphragm carburettor, a 0.63 litre fuel tank and a recoil starter. Honda highlights easy starting, quick acceleration and low fuel and oil use. It is built for brush cutters and agricultural sprayers, and weighs 4.1 kg dry.
