Description
The Honda GX690 is a 688 cc four-stroke, two-cylinder OHV petrol engine with a 90-degree V-twin layout and a horizontal shaft, built for heavy industrial, construction and agricultural machinery. It produces a net 16.5 kW (22.1 hp) at 3,600 rpm, with a continuous rated output of 13.0 kW (17.4 hp) at 3,600 rpm. It starts with an electric starter helped by automatic decompression, and has digital CDI ignition with variable timing, a two-barrel carburettor with a fuel-cut solenoid, oil alert and cast iron cylinder sleeves. Honda names ride-on power trowels and mini tractors as typical uses. Dry weight is 44.6 kg.
