Description
The INSIZE 1531-60 is a digital caliper built to check the symmetry of a keyway cut into a shaft, covering shafts from Ø10 mm to Ø120 mm with keyways from 6 mm to 45 mm wide. INSIZE states an accuracy of ±0.05 mm and a resolution of 0.01 mm (0.0005 in), with a data output port. You measure once, then turn the caliper 180° and measure again; comparing the two readings shows whether the keyway sits central, is offset, or the shaft is warped. This model can also measure the keyway's width. It is non-waterproof, made of stainless steel, and runs on a CR2032 battery.
