Insize 2398-08 Vertical Type Dial Test Indicator 0.8mm. The INSIZE 2398-08 is a vertical-type dial test indicator with a 0.8mm range, 13µm accuracy and 0.01mm graduation, meeting DIN 2270. It runs on a jeweled bearing with a carbide contact point and measures in two directions, and the body is anti-magnetic so it will not pick up stray magnetism from steel workpieces. It comes with two mounting clamps, in 4mm and 8mm diameters, for fitting the indicator to a stand or holder. Dial test indicators like this read small deviations on flat or round surfaces, such as when checking runout or alignment on a lathe or mill.
