Description

INSIZE's 4796 machinist square (economic type) is a DIN 875 grade 2 square made of carbon steel, sized 250x165mm. INSIZE states its squareness as 42μm measured on the inside edge and 45μm on the outside edge, with a blade thickness of 35 mm and a base thickness of 35 mm. INSIZE marks this economic-type square as not treated against rust and not hardened, so it should be wiped dry and lightly oiled after use. It is used for checking and marking right angles on metalwork where a grade-2 square is accurate enough.
